OVERVIEW:

TASK WAS TO CREATE WINE LABELS FOR EXPORT TO THE COUNTRIES OF THE EU. THE IDEA WAS BASED ON SHARING THE RICH CULTURE AND TRADITIONS OF WINEMAKING IN MOLDOVA.

[01] ABOUT THE PROJECT

A COLLABORATION WITH A LARGE
MOLDOVAN WINE COMPANY "IMPERIAL VIN"

MY TASK WAS TO CREATE WINE LABELS FOR EXPORT TO THE COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (IN PARTICULAR POLAND). THE IDEA WAS BASED ON SHARING THE RICH CULTURE AND TRADITIONS OF WINEMAKING IN MOLDOVA AND ESPECIALLY IN MOLDOVIAN VILLAGES WITH RESIDENTS OF THE EUROPE.

EVERY LABEL 🏷️ OF THE BOTTLE REPRESENTS THE STORY

[ MY APPROACH ]

MOLDOVIAN WINE IS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED OUTSIDE MY COUNTRY, BUT ONLY FEW PEOPLE KNOW THE RICHNESS OF THE WINE CULTURE IN MOLDOVA. IN ORDER TO PRESERVE AND CONVEY THE AUTHENTICITY OF WINE PRODUCTION IN THE VILLAGES, I CREATED HANDMADE ILLUSTRATIONS USING INK, PAINTS AND WIDE BRUSHES, AND CALLED THE SERIES "NOTES OF A MOLDOVIAN".

EVERY LABEL OF THE BOTTLE REPRESENTS THE STORY OF ONE OF THE OLD VILLAGE TRADITIONS ABOUT WINEMAKING AND WINE DRINKING.
